How to Apply For a Schengen Visa in Thailand

The Schengen business agreement is a treaty aiming towards the abolition of coarse borders of states in Europe that was signed on 14 June 1985. Only France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands and West Germany initially signed, but now there are already about 25 members. Now, this group of states is known as the Schengen area.

Schengen Visa

In consonance with the above mentioned agreement, the Schengen visa has been created. This is in a form of a emblem affixed by the issuing consulate onto the passport or voyage document which authorizes the possessor to cross borders in Schengen area on condition that he/she met the entry conditions.

Schengen visa has any categories: A, B, C, D, D+C, Ftd and Frtd. In Thailand, it is Schengen visa "C" that is popularly applied for because it serves as a short term visa allowing the possessor to visit Schengen states for a maximum period of 90 days in a six month period.

Schengen Visa Application

All consulates of members of the Schengen area are allowed to issue Schengen visas. However, an applicant should file his/her application with the proper consulate. There are three rules to recognize which is consulate may receive the request.

First, if he/she wants to visit a Schengen country, he/she needs to apply before the consulate of that single country.

Second, when any Schengen states are intended to be visited, the consulate of the main destination may issue the visa. For example, the applicant wants to go to Belgium and France, but the intended stay in France is longer, hence, the French Consulate is the proper consulate to grant the visa.

Third, if the applicant is not sure which country will be his/her main destination, the appropriate consulate is that of the country of first entry.

Lastly, when there is no consulate for the country that is the main destination or the first entry in the applicant's country, he/she may perceive the consulate of a Schengen country, which represents, for the purpose of issuing Schengen visa, the country of original destination or first entry.

The documentary requirements vary depending on the Schengen consulate and purpose of the visit. The appropriate papers significant to requests for this type of visa for all consulates are valid passport, up-to-date photograph, application form, and proof of healing insurance. The minimum assurance coverage is Eur30,000.00.

Schengen Visa Application Process in Thailand

The visa applicant can perfect the application form and regain the significant supporting documents before submitting the application to the appropriate Schengen embassy in Thailand. The process ordinarily takes 4-5 company days. It ordinarily takes longer if interview is required.

In case the applicant is applying a said visa based on sponsorship, the sponsor needs to make an valid sponsorship notification in his/her home country which he then contribute to the visa applicant as supporting evidence for the application.

Using a Visa agent

While the application process for this type of visa appears to be easy and straightforward, the applicant who is unfamiliar with immigration forms and dinky by language fence may find the application rather frustrating. In this case, it would be good to ask the assistance of a powerful visa agent to help with the Schengen visa application in Thailand.

Things to Do Near Bangkok Airport while Transit

If you are in transit at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport for more than 6 hours and don't fancy sitting around the airport all day, there are a number of attractions around that are a short taxi ride away and will without fail break up the boredom of your short stay. A very piquant and unique choice near the airport is "Ancient Siam" (formerly known as old City). Called Mueang Boran in Thai, it is a cultural park spread over 200 acres and is referred to as the world's largest outdoor museum.

The park is built in the shape of Thailand and houses 116 replicas, reconstructed monuments and architectural attractions. Each of the structures are located in it's geographically literal, position within the Thailand-shaped park. Some of the monuments are life-sized, while others are scaled down. Spending a day here will give you a great tour of the history of Thailand and you can even opt for a secret guided tour in English, though of policy at an extra cost (1500 Baht).

The architecture on display throughout the park is precisely amazing, a lot of it quite difficult to find nowadays throughout Thailand. Apart from some major reproductions such as the floating market, the reclining Buddha, the Pavilion of the Enlightened and the Giant Swing and Brahmin Temple, you can also see and walk straight through realistic depictions of original Thai villages which are still in fullness today in rural Thailand, but unless you have Thai friends or relatives to take you, it would be difficult to see during your stay.

Ancient Siam precisely is very gorgeous and it is so large that you can spend a peaceful day roaming or cycling and only run into person every now and then. Bicycles, and even 2 and 3 seater bicycles, can be rented inside the park for 50 Baht each (100 and 150 Baht respectively for duo and triple bicycles).

The park is approximately 15 kilometers from the airport and is accessible in 40 minutes. Admission is 300 Baht for adults and 150 Baht for children. It is open form 8am to 5pm daily.

In the same area as the old Siam park is the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo. Built in 1950, it was Thailand's first crocodile farm and now houses over 60,000 crocodiles, of both the saltwater and freshwater variety. You can see elephants, chimpanzees, and other animals such as gibbons, turtles, boa constrictors, pythons, birds, camels, hippopotamuses, and of varied species of fishes. There is also a tiger chained up with which you can have your photo taken.

The park is open from 7am to 6pm and shows are performed every hour in the middle of 9am and 5pm, with handlers catching the crocodiles bare handed, wrestling with them and even placing their hands and heads inside the crocodiles' open jaws. There are also elephant shows with performances every hour in the middle of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Be warned that this zoo has come under a lot of flack from some tourists for the way the animals are treated with small concrete enclosures with no secondary barriers. Advances in zoo designs have precisely not come to Thailand yet and if you are sensitive to such things you may want to skip this zoo.

In overview if you have in the middle of eight and twelve hours, the old Siam park is an exquisite choice to get outside, have a relaxing time and even learn something about Thailand. If you have a shorter number of time and if you have the stomach for it, you may think the Crocodile Farm and Zoo. Both of these attractions are close to each other and can be reached by taxi from the airport in a miniature over half an hour. Be sure to check at the new Tours for Transit Passengers desks in the replacement hall of the airport to see if these destinations are offered as a tour. If so you can avoid paying the 700 baht airport tax when you re-check-in to your onward flight by taking the tour.

How Much to Tip For a Massage

Tipping is an unusual experience. You pay for a services then after it is completed you are unbelievable to pay and unspoken estimate more. This brings up the question, when should you tip and when shouldn't you tip? If tipping for a assistance is traditional then should you tip for every service?

The riposte is no. In my opinion you should only tip for services were interaction with a man brings the desired outcome. For example, I don't tip when I get my oil changed because I wait in a waiting room the whole time. The only time I talk to man is when I pay. On the other hand, I do tip when I am in a bistro where I have to interact with a waiter. That interaction is what results in me getting my food cooked to my liking and a good dining experience.

So the ask is, should you tip when getting a massage? My riposte is yes. A great massage is the supervene of the interaction in the middle of you and your masseuse. They tailor the massage to fit your needs.

So how much is customary? This can vary from man to man but I tend to tip 15%, and if I verily loved it I tip 20%. 15% is pretty suitable in the assistance manufactures and is most notably used in the bistro world. So if I pay for a massage then I would ordinarily tip 11-15 dollars depending how much I liked it.

I've never hated a massage before, but I have gotten some that weren't great. In those instances I commonly tip nearby . I always like to tip even if it wasn't great, because the masseuse obviously put out the attempt and it wasn't her fault that she wasn't right for me. Next time I just don't see that masseuse again.

cafeteria Start Up Costs - How Much Money Will You Need?

One of the biggest reasons restaurants fail is because there was never easily enough capital to start the bistro in the first place. If you are planning to open your restaurant, you will need enough capital to start up and then enough money to cover about two to three years of expenses because this is commonly about how long it will take before you start development any real profits.

For now let's just focus on the bistro start up costs - money you'll need to go from the idea stage to easily chance your restaurant. These costs can vary depending of the style of the restaurant, location you have chosen, and the type of cuisines offered. It can range between one hundred thousand dollars and three hundred thousand dollars depending on where you live, what type of bistro you're opening, and a collection of other factors.

From the outset you're going to shell out money to get all the allowable licenses and permits. Then you'll also have to whether spend a good chunk of cash on slightly modifying a place, fully renovating a space, or easily beginning from scratch. Obviously, the more you want to do to the space then the more money you'll have to spend.

Then you're going to have to look at the bistro start up costs to buy the equipment you need for the restaurant. This includes things like the ovens, stoves, freezers, refrigerators, stations for cutting, heating, and cooling, ventilation equipment, tables, chairs, and perhaps bar stools. Of procedure you may be able to find a place where many of these things are already present. However, even though you'll be salvage money at the outset, you may easily lose money in the long run because places that are fully qualified commonly are much more expensive than places that aren't furnished or qualified at all.

In increasing to the items listed above, you'll also need to buy an outdoor sign, menus, glasses, china, silverware, and many other smaller items. You need to make sure you plan out every little thing you need to get started including things like napkins, light bulbs, and toiler tissue.

Part of your start up costs will also consist of money for buying point of sale equipment such as cash registers, prestige card machines, etc. You will need a way for habitancy to swiftly and easily pay for their food (this is how you'll make money).

You will also need to plan for buying food and drinks, as well any other thing that will be an ongoing expense. Don't forget to consist of anything and everything. Any unexpected charge that crops up later will hurt your bottom line and threaten to blow apart your budget. So be very careful.

Restaurant start up costs can be very pricey, The midpoint cost to start up a bistro is often right colse to a quarter of a million dollars. In addition, a very coarse speculate why habitancy fail with their restaurants is because they don't have enough money to shell out for the first cost of chance the bistro and then to continue to spend the money to keep the bistro operating. So just to be sure, all the time make sure you have the capital to start up the bistro and then to keep it going for a combine years.

sublime Places in France - Top Ten

There are so many celebrated places in France, that it would be impossible to see them all in one trip. If this is your first visit to France, the options can seem overwhelming...where do you go? Which are the best places to see?

Here is a snapshot of some of the most celebrated places in France that you, or your family and friends might like to visit - depending on your interests, either this is historical sites, museums, areas of natural attractiveness or food and wine.

If you are spending a join of weeks here you could genuinely visit most of the places listed below. It will be a whirlwind trip, but is genuinely doable and you will have many phenomenal memories.

Some of the most celebrated places in France are in Paris!

1. La Tour Eiffel
The Eiffel Tower, built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exposition, is without a doubt one of the most beloved tourist attractions in France.

It's phenomenal to think that the Eiffel Tower was, for a time, seen as an eyesore and even ugly; it was roughly knocked down in 1909.

2. Musée du Louvre
The Louvre museum, once a royal palace, is now one of the most well known art museums in the world, featuring paintings such as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, as well as spectacular artworks by Michelangelo, Raphael and, Botticelli.

3. Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris
Next in line is the gorgeous Gothic cathedral, Notre Dame, built from the colse to 1163 to 1345, visited by more than 12 million population a year, and one of the most celebrated french monuments.

4. Arc du Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe and magnificent Ave des Champs-Elysées, are spectacular to see. The Arc was commissioned by Napoloeon to commemorate the victories of his armies; the tomb of France's Unknown Soldier lies here, and every evening a memorial flame is lit.

5. Versailles
If you can, try and visit the Palace of Versailles, built while the reign of Louis Xiv - known as the Sun King (Roi Soleil) to display his wealth and power of the monarchy at that time. Versailles can be genuinely reached as a day trip from Paris. It is without question, genuinely phenomenal and one of the most dazzling things you will probably every see.

6. Mont St Michel
Mont St Michel is one of the most recognisable landmarks in France, located just off the coast of Normandy. In fact, it is the next most visited site after Paris!

Its hard not to be awed by the sight of Mont St Michel, with its Gothic-style Benedictine Abbey perched high above a rocky outcrop.

7. Mont Blanc
Mont Blanc (meaning white mountain in French) is the highest mountain in the Alps, lying in the middle of Italy and France. Chamonix is here, the site of the first Winter Olympics, and one of the most beloved places to visit in France for skiing.

Even if you're not planning to ski, it's well worth a visit.

You can take the Aiguille de Midi cable car for spectacular views of the mountains. Certainly one of the highest (and probably one of the most exhilarating - or scary, depending on which way you look at it) - cablecar rides you'll take!

8. Chateaux de la Loire
The Loire Valley, playground to royalty from the 15th straight through to the 18th centuries, boasts many gorgeous renaissance chateaux.

There are several hundred castles in the Loire; some of the most beloved are Château d´Amboise, Chambord, Chenonceau, Blois and Cheverny.

The Loire is also known for its fine wines too, and you can sample Muscadet, Sauvignon and many more.

Heading south, there are even more celebrated places in France.

9. Carcassonne
Carcassonne, in the Languedoc region, is Europe's largest walled city and one of the finest examples of medieval architecture.

Carcassonne's towers and pointed turrets look like they have come straight out of a fairy tale or Walt Disney movie. But there is no make believe here - it's all for real. Carcassonne is also one of the most most beloved french monuments.

10. Lascaux
Some of the finest prehistoric art collections can be found in southwest france.

The antique cave paintings, drawings and carvings that you can see here are truly awe inspiring, some dating as far back as 35,000 years.

The Lascaux sites (now a replica) are very beloved tourist attractions in france, and there are many others too that are worth visiting.

And last but not least: french food and wine. Wherever you go, you will be able to try local specialties, either this is bouillabaisse in Marseille, camembert in Normandy, or foie gras in the Perigord.

What to Wear in Dubai

Dubai is one of the fastest growing metropolises in the world, with more tourists arriving every year. The city government and the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (Uae) both place a lot of significance on the tourism industry, and each year spectacular new tourist attractions in Dubai are opened while others begin construction.

Most visitors to Dubai are unsure of what kind of clothes to pack for their trip. What is the original dress code for visitors to this exotic city?

No matter which country you may visit, it's all the time a good idea to learn about the local customs. What is determined decent attire in China may be conception of as stuffy in Australia! To avoid wearing conspicuously odd clothes, in Dubai, you don't need to wear the white robes of the Bedouins. There are no exact rules governing what you wear in Dubai, but you should keep in mind that the Uae is a conservative place, and you might end up feeling embarrassed if you wear something that's determined indecent from the perspective of local traditions.

There are two aspects to reconsider while deciding what to wear in Dubai - the weather and the culture of the country.

I. Weather -

Dubai is a typical desert city with incredibly hot summers and slowly cold winters. Summers last from April to early November. If you plan to visit in the summer, light clothes made of natural fibers will help you experience the weather when you step out. Lightweight trousers and full-sleeved cotton shirts would be ideal, because they cover up your skin and preclude sun burn, while at the same time allow air to reach your skin and cool you down.

Please remember that as a rule, malls and places of interest are ordinarily heavily air-conditioned, and it can nothing else but get a little cold if you stay indoors for long! On trips to events that will keep you inside a large facility, it is advisable to take a light shawl or jacket to keep you warm. In the Emirate's climate, winters are not highly cold; still, it's thrifty to wear warm clothing when you step out. A light jacket or sweater is recommended during the months of December to February.

Ii. custom -

As mentioned already, Dubai is a free city as far as tourists are concerned. There are no exact dress restrictions. Still, to respect the local customs of dressing, it's wise to dress according to the place you are planning to go to. Here are a few examples -

Beach wear: T-shirts and shorts are ideal. Swimsuits are acceptable as long as they are not too revealing. String bikinis may attract unwanted attention.

Visits to malls, restaurants and clubs: Not many restrictions here, and local custom intimately matches the European and North American patterns of dining out. Still, you will feel most comfortable in clothes that cover your knees and shoulders. For men, T shirts and knee length shorts, cotton shirts and trousers are okay for cheap meals or fast food. Women can wear knee length skirts, Capri slacks, or trousers with decent tops. As you may expected, some formal dining establishments want ties, or formal dress.

Visits to mosque and souks: These are the most original areas of Dubai, and here unabridged coverings of clothing are most ideal. Respectable attire for men is trousers and shirts. Women can wear skirts, Capri slacks and trousers that fall below knee level. Tops should not expose shoulders or midriff.

These restrictions are not dictated by the Government, but are instead just guidelines to help you determine what to wear without offending the religious sentiments of the local population.

Iii. Tips -

* Women - Carry a light shawl wherever you go so that you can cover yourself if you visit a original place, such as a temple. It can also be used to keep you warm when the air-conditioning is too high, which is ordinarily the case in social buildings!
* Pack a broad-brimmed hat and sunglasses to safe you from the sun, especially if you are planning to go to the beach.
* Pack a pair of good walking shoes. The malls in Dubai are predominant for their size, and you'll surely find yourself walking a lot in Dubai. Wear comfortable shoes made for walking, to keep you from getting blisters or sore arches.
* touch your hotel in Dubai to learn the general dressing code in and out of the hotel.

The 5 Disadvantages of Condominium proprietary

In the past condominiums were not necessarily determined to be a good investment for a variety of reasons, any way that image has since changed dramatically. With the high price of singular house homes, condominiums and townhouses are becoming more absorbing to many buyers such as singles, retiring couples that are downsizing and small families that would like to buy in exquisite school districts. However, for those home buyers that have only determined a singular house home as the definition of homeownership they may not be well-known with what options are available in the form of condominiums.

Condominiums are buildings in which individuals separately own the air space inside the interior walls, floors and ceilings of their unit, but they jointly own an interest in the common areas that they share such as the land, lobby, hallways, swimming pool, grounds and parking lot. While many condominiums are designed to look like apartments or are built in high rise city buildings, more and more builders are designing them where they can be referred to as townhouses. Townhouses are regularly attached to one or more houses and can run the gamut from duplexes and triplexes to communities with hundreds of homes

In increasing to paying a mortgage, each owner is responsible for paying a monthly fee to the condo association, regularly referred to as the homeowner's relationship which is made up of the unit owners. The fee covers maintenance, repairs, grounds holding and construction insurance.

In the past condominium proprietary suffered with a negative image for a variety of reasons, any way that image has since changed dramatically. Once the thorn in homeowner's sides, condominium associations have worked hard in up-to-date years to clean up their negative image where disputes and lawsuits were once rampant. Homeowner's associations have become savvier and much more expert about property supervision and have taken steps to preclude legal problems and disputes before they happen. However, there are some disadvantages that still need to be determined before you buy.

1) Monthly Homeowner's relationship Fee

If there is a homeowner's association, you will regularly have to pay a monthly maintenance fee that is detach from your mortgage payment. Many condominium owners factor this charge as similar to the costs they would have incurred for man to do the lawn care and other maintenance if they owned a singular house home. However, you should watch for unnecessarily high monthly charges and ask to see a copy of the most recent financial statement from the homeowner's association.

2) Less Privacy

There is also less privacy than with a detached single-family home. Collective living is not always desirable for some habitancy and the noise level generated by living in close nearnessy to others can sway some buyers to naturally look elsewhere. Usually, the biggest concern is about parking for the owners and for their guests. However, many condominiums are being designed with their own garages and have common parking areas available for guests.

3) Ccr's Can be Very Restrictive

Ccr's or Covenants, Codes and Restrictions are defined as the bylaws that govern the use of the property. Most Ccr's are reasonable, but some can be very restrictive. There regularly are limits on the type of outside changes or improvements you will be able to make to the property. In addition, you may find, among other things, that they prohibit or restrict pets and the renting or subletting of units. Make sure that you get a copy of the Ccrs and recite them (they regularly have a summary booklet) before you decree to make an offer.

4) High Tenant Ratio

Also, make sure you find out the owner-to-tenant ratio. Because many condominiums are often purchased as investments, there could be a high percentage of tenants in the building. Although this trend is also changing, especially in condominiums which are placed in urban areas where they contribute suitable shopping, entrance to communication and other amenities thereby attracting owners who intend to live in their condos.

5) Resale Value

In some real estate markets, such as Las Vegas and Florida, builders have overbuilt condominiums and townhouses and they are being sold at a loss. However, in other real estate markets they have held their value as an investment despite economic downturns and problems with some homeowner's associations.

While some of these factors would discourage some buyers from purchasing condominiums, it may be just the right investment for others because it suits their pocketbook and lifestyle. In spite of these disadvantages, the high price of single-family homes in some real estate markets such as California and the influx into the housing shop of more singular homebuyers have made condos relatively hot national investments. A expert realtor can aid and guide you in showing you which are the great deals in your local shop and city.

The K1 visa for fiancé/fiancée is a non-immigrant visa that will allow the holder to immigrate in the Us, marry the American citizen, and adjust status to come to be a permanent resident once the marriage is legally registered. The visa holder is also allowed to seek employment once the adjustment of status application is approved. Moreover, should K1 visa applicant wishes to bring his/her child/children (if any) to the Us, a K2 visa (K3 visa derivative) can be applied for in case, granted that the child is unmarried and below 21 years old.

Generally, the petitioner (American) and the beneficiary (Filipino) must have met each other in person within the past two years of relationship. Defining Mid-Rise Condominiums in town City Philadelphia

Mid Rise Condominiums (Mrc's) are prevalent throughout town City Philadelphia and generally have come about in popularity in the past 15-20 years. Mrcs can be defined as structure between 5 and 10 stories tall and may or may not have services such as a doorman, porter, a pool, or on site management, but generally they do not. But they are going to have a few more amenities than the Low Rise Condos (Lrc's) which have no amenities, and fewer than the high rise condominiums which have the doorman and the porter and the parking lot attendant and the swimming pool and the lifeguard, etc. Some Mrc's have part time doormen, which means a lower monthly condo fees.

The condo fees will probably be higher in a Hrc than in a Mrc because you're paying for full services. Some buyers are very "condo fee adverse" so clearly, Mrc as a matter of fact have such an advantage over some of the more full service, high rise condo structure here in town. Advantages such as condo fees; mid-rise condos have mid-level prices. Not too high, not too low, and general acceptable to the buying public. Again, on the whole, Mrc's have mid level services, which translate into mid level condo fees. generally in an Mrc, you won't be swallowed up by being one out of two hundred habitancy in a condominium association, but then again it's not going to be like you and the neighbor upstairs and the person next door that makes up the condo connection (where if you don't like somebody and they gang up, you're out of luck). So there's some protection in an Mrc without the swallowed-up feeling some habitancy get in an Hrc.

The Mrc is very popular because a lot of them do offer parking, and they offer some neat details to the condominiums because generally a lot of them are old storage buildings. So you may get some neat space in a good location, with private detail and character, but yet still have some of the nice services that the Hrcs get. So mid-rise condos are perfectly situated for a lot of buyers in between the low fee, low service, low rise and the high fee, high service, high rise, if you will.

One of the disadvantages of Mrcs sometimes is owner occupancy ratios. If as a matter of fact you buy into a mid-rise construction that has thirty units and twenty of those units are rented out, you don't have the kind of owner occupancy ratio that a lot of mortgage fellowships like to see in order to lend, lets say, zero or five percent down. Owner occupancy ratios on Mrcs sometimes can be below the acceptable level. Therefore, financing on some of them, like Lrcs, can be a puny bit more difficult than an Hrc which are typically a breeze.

Mid-rise condos, as an advantage, often share a coarse roof deck; very prevalent in your mid-rise buildings. It gives everybody in the construction a sense of surface space and does contribute to a sense of "resaleability" and a roof deck is as a matter of fact just something that needs to be tended to only every combine of years, so not a high maintenance item, but a plus for buyers looking for a puny bit of surface space for their unit.
